Budget-friendly Samsung Galaxy M10s coming soon to India
Samsung might be best-known for its flagship devices but it also delivers a great number of mid-range and budget-friendly handsets. A couple of days ago we reported that the company is going to launch the Galaxy M30 on September 18. Now, it seems that another M-series smartphone will launch soon in India too. It is the Samsung Galaxy M10s, a budget-friendly device, and thanks to a leak we now know what it will have to offer. The specs sheet of the smartphone is not necessarily impressive, but it does suggest that the M10s will be a reliable entry-level device.
The Samsung Galaxy M10s will reportedly sport a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a 720 x 1560 pixels resolution. The resolution itself is not impressive at all, however, the Super AMOLED technology will most likely compensate for this shortcoming a lot. Even though this is a budget phone, the handset has an all-screen design, with a small teardrop-shaped front-facing camera and a rather thin bottom bezel. On the back, users will find a fingerprint sensor and a dual camera setup, consisting of a 13MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The resulting photos won’t be as amazing as the ones captured with the cameras of flagship devices, still, the results should be satisfying.
Under the hood of the Samsung Galaxy M10s, there reportedly is an Exynos 7885 octa-core chipset which is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Other features of the smartphone include Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, a 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, and Dolby Atmos audio. A 4,000mAh battery will be responsible for taking users easily through the day on a single charge. As for the operating system, the handset will supposedly come running Android 9 Pie. It’s not quite clear yet whether the M series smartphones will get the Android Q upgrade, however, users should not expect it to arrive any time soon, that is if it ever gets to the M10s.
One of the best things about the Samsung Galaxy M10s is its pricing. The handset will reportedly cost less than INR 10,000 in India. This roughly translates into $140, which is a really good price for a handset featuring a Super AMOLED display and having the power of the M10s. There is no official information concerning the launch date of the device but it will most likely hit the stores before the end of the mont.
