Honor V30 to sport double selfie camera

Honor is going to launch its new Honor V30 smartphone before the end of the year. Even though there probably still is more than two months to go until the launch event, images of the handset surfaced on the web, giving us a glimpse at what the new device will look like. The handset will have some new design features compared to its predecessor, the Honor V20, and it will certainly bring on improvements on the inside too. Naturally, Honor will launch a 5G version of the handset too, which is really not surprising, as most of the smartphone manufacturers deliver 5G handsets too this year.

Even though the V20 already had a punch-hole display, the Honor V30 still brings something new, as this time around there will be two snappers on the front. The display is also slightly curved on the new model, which looks a lot nicer than the flat display of its predecessor. The chin also got a little thinner, so the overall look is more modern and elegant than the one of the V20. It’s not clear whether there are changes on the back of the handset too, as the leaked image only shows the front of the smartphone.

There is no information regarding the other features of the upcoming Honor V30, however, based on what Honor usually delivers with the V-series devices we can take an educated guess on what the smartphone will have to offer. The new handset, which will most likely launch in December, or the end of November the earliest, will most likely come with the new Kirin 990 chipset on board. This could be paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, possible even 512GB of storage space. The cameras will also certainly get an upgrade and they will be able to deliver even nicer images than the ones of the V20.

There will be two models, the 4G and the 5G one. Just like in the past years, the Honor V30 will most likely hit the global markets with a different moniker, the Honor View 30. Since the handset launches sometime in December, we will certainly hear more about it in a month or so.
