Huawei Honor 9X official image shows the phone’s back cover

Huawei might have a few legal issues ongoing, but it still keeps delivering really nice handsets. The next one in line comes from the company’s subsidiary, Honor and it is the Huawei Honor 9X. The handset’s launch is set for next week and it is no surprise that we already know quite a lot about it. Honor itself released an official image of the smartphone’s back that reveals a colorful and playful design. The midranger will have quite a lot to offer if we are to consider the leaked specs sheet that was spotted on TENAA.

The upcoming Huawei Honor 9X and 9X Pro will reportedly feature Kirin 810 processors and will include up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. The smartphones will also support up to 512GB additional storage thanks to the microSD card slot of the handsets. While previous rumors pointed toward double camera setups, the image reveals three cameras on the back of the smartphone, so there is a high chance that it actually depicts the Huawei Honor 9X Pro, and the simple 9X will be the one to sport two cameras on the back. Other specs of the upcoming smartphone include a 3,900mAh battery, possibly even a larger one for the Pro model, and
Android 9-based EMUI 9.0  or 9.1 even.

There is no official information regarding the pricing of the upcoming smartphones but there is a chance that the price tags will not necessarily be low ones. Even so, smartphone users could get a device with a really eye-catching look, some nice specs, and a huge display. If they are lucky, they will even get the next Android updates. The Huawei Honor 9X and 9X Pro will launch next week, so we will find out everything there is to know about them soon, including pricing and availability.
