Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro to launch on September 19

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is finally here and it seems to be in the center of every discussion, however, the line of amazing 2019 flagships doesn’t stop with it. The iPhone 11 is still to be announced and now we even have a launch date for the Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro. Even though the company had some issues in the past few months, the Mate 30 and the Pro promise to be really impressive and powerful handsets. Rumor has it that we might even see a Huawei Mate 30 Lite launch alongside the more powerful Mate 30, so we really have serious reasons to be eagerly waiting for September 19th.

While, surprisingly we still don’t know exactly what the Huawei Mate 30 and 30 Pro will look like, due to some leaks regarding the upcoming Mate 30 Pro’ protective casings, we do know that it will most likely sport a circular camera setup on the back, which will house three camera sensors and a flash light. Naturally, we expect the sensors to be quite impressive and deliver amazing quality images, just as the ones on previous Huawei flagship devices. Two of the sensors might be 40MP ones, and the third will probably be a telephoto camera.

Other rumored specs of the upcoming smartphones include the brand new Kirin 990 chipset, under-display fingerprint sensors, and possibly 55W charging. As for the size and quality of the displays, we don’t have too many information in this section but the Huawei Mate 30 Pro is said to sport a 6.7-inch screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. This is not as impressive as the 120Hz display of the Asus Rog Phone II, but then again, the Huawei handsets are not gaming phones, and for their category, the 90Hz refresh rate is quite impressive.

It’s not quite clear yet whether there will be a Huawei Mate 30 Lite too, however, rumor has it that if it will exist, it will most likely be very similar to the Huawei Nova 5i Pro, if not even the exact same device. There is only over a month to go until the official launch of the handsets. We will certainly have more information regarding the devices soon, as nothing remains a secret in the tech world for too long. Stay tuned and find out everything there is to know about the Huawei devices before their September 19 launch date.
