OnePlus 7T will become available for purchase starting October 15
OnePlus started off by delivering a flagship killer a few years back and it continued to launch great devices ever since. The company surprised its fans by launching not one but two smartphone models in May, the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro, however, the lineup of 2019 flagship killers doesn’t stop here. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is yet to deliver the OnePlus 7T, which will reportedly launch as soon as September 26th. The launch event will take place in India and the device will become available for purchase starting October 15th.
Even though OnePlus usually launches its new models in India and the United States or Europe at the same time, it seems that this year things will go differently. The OnePlus 7T will initially launch only in India, with other launch events following in the United States and in Europe on October 10th. It’s not quite clear whether the handset will go on sale on all markets at the same time or India will steal the start in this category also. Even if India will be the first one to welcome the new model, the United States and Europe should follow closely.
Surprisingly enough, not many rumors regarding the OnePlus 7T surfaced yet. OnePlus recently confirmed that they are working on a new 5G device that would launch this year, so the fact that the OnePlus 7T will be a 5G smartphone is certain. Naturally, it will house all the best hardware. Normally, we would expect the Snapdragon 855 to be on board, but we could also see the new device sporting the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus instead. The OnePlus 7 Pro’s top-tier variant included 12GB of RAM, so we might see the 7T offering the same amount of memory. As for the internal storage, there will probably be several variants, maxing out at 256GB.
It’s hard to imagine that the camera setup of the OnePlus 7T will be any more impressive than the one on the OnePlus 7 Pro. It will, however, certainly be more impressive than the one of the regular OnePlus 7. We just have to wait and see whether the 7T will feature a nicer dual camera setup than the one on the OnePlus 7 or it will have the same triple setup as the OnePlus 7 Pro’s. Either way, the quality of the resulting pictures and videos should be quite high. The pop-up selfie camera could also make a second appearance.
There still are a few weeks to go until the big launch event. Normally, leaked images and specs should surface in the next couple of days and we will most likely know everything about all the major features of the OnePlus 7T before its official launch on September 26th.
