Realme X2 Pro flagship lands in Europe next week
Even though many smartphone users only consider the handsets of major smartphone manufacturers to be worthy of them, several smaller OEMs also deliver really impressive handsets. The Realme X2 Pro is one of them, and it will become available for pre-orders next week, on November 4 in select European markets. The first countries to sell the smartphone are
Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and the UK. Hopefully, the device will reach other countries too in the near future. It has a lot to offer, and it does it for an affordable price.
The Realme X2 Pro has a simple and yet elegant look with its slightly rounded corners, glass back, and aluminum frame. The waterdrop notch on the top of the display is small enough to be discreet and the quad-camera setup on the back also looks nice. Naturally, what is under the hood is what turns the X2 Pro into a flagship device, not its looks. Thankfully, there is a lot going on under the hood too. First of all, Realme equipped its handset with the most powerful chipset available right now, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+. The device is going to be available in several memory and storage options, so users can choose exactly what they need.
The base Realme X2 Pro offers 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, while the other two versions include 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage and 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage respectively. The handset doesn’t offer users the possibility to further expand the storage space, so they should really make the right choice for them from the very beginning. Besides the powerful chipset and high amount of memory and storage, the Realme X2 Pro also impresses with its camera setup. The quad-camera on the back of the handset consists of a 64MP main camera, a 13MP telephoto lens, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, users will find a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calls.
Last but not least, Realme equipped its X2 Pro device with a really impressive battery. The 4,000mAh energy pack supports 50W fast charging. This means that users can get a full charge in only 35 minutes, at least according to the manufacturer. This is, indeed, quite impressive, and it is a really useful feature, as the 6.5-inches SuperAMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate will certainly use a lot of power. Other features of the smartphone include an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, and Dolby Atmos stereo speakers. The handset runs Android 9 out of the box, however, it is planned to upgrade to Android 10 soon.
One might think that a device with this much to offer will cost a lot. This is usually true, however, the starting price of the Realme X2 Pro is only €399. Even for the variant including 12GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage, customers will only need to pay €499.
