Realme XT with in-display fingerprint sensor coming by the end of September
Realme smartphones have become quite popular lately. The company recently showed off the Realme 5 and 5 Pro and another model is going to launch at the end of September. The Realme XT might look a lot like the 5 and 5 Pro but it will have some great new features too. One of them is the 64MP camera the company promised to deliver. Judging by the first teaser image Realme shared with the world, the fingerprint sensor is gone from the back of the handset and will be hidden under the display. The existence of the in-display fingerprint sensor also points toward an OLED display.
Besides the 64MP camera, the Realme XT will reportedly sport an ultra-wide-angle sensor, a macro lens, and a depth sensor as well. The 64MP sensor will be a Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor. It seems that there will be no telephoto lens, so users shouldn’t expect a dedicated camera for zooming. Even without it, the resulting images should be quite impressive. The manufacturing company did not reveal too much about the upcoming smartphone, however, the teaser photo does show a beautiful Silver Wing White case that looks quite enchanting.
Given the fact that the Realme XT is going to be a member of the Realme X series family, it’s safe to assume that it will have similar specs to the ones of the Realme X that launched earlier this year. This means that we can expect a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 or possibly an SD 712 chipset, up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB internal memory. The base variant could include 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage, just like the base model of the Realme X did. The front-facing camera will most likely be a pop-up one. Other expected features of the upcoming handset include fast charging support, Bluetooth 5.0, and Android Pie operating system. As for the pricing, it should be similar to the one of the Realme X, which makes the Realme XT a pretty powerful, yet affordable device. We will definitely know more about the handset in a few weeks, as the launch date approaches.
