Samsung is famous for its flagship devices but its more affordable models are quite popular too. After releasing the A20e, the South Korean smartphone manufacturer seems to be ready to launch yet another affordable model, the Samsung Galaxy A10e. The new model is expected to be a device similar to the A10 that was released last month, only with less impressive specs and a more affordable price. While we still don’t have an official launch date for the entry-level model, it was spotted on the WiFi Alliance website, so it’s safe to assume that we will get to see it in the near future.
Unfortunately, the listing did not reveal any details regarding the Samsung Galaxy A10e, however, it does confirm that the new model just got WiFi certification. The only things the listing tells us are that the Samsung Galaxy A10e will run on Android Pie and support dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. Even so, given the fact that the new model will presumably be a little less powerful than the A10, it’s not too hard to imagine what it will be like. The A10 that is available in stores since last month comes with a 6.2-inch display with HD resolution, Exynos 7884 Octa chipset, and it includes 32GB internal storage and 2GB RAM. The device comes with a 3,400mAh battery, a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP selfie camera.
In the case of the Samsung Galaxy A20 and A20e duo, the changes consisted in some alterations of the handset’s size, a smaller battery, a different type of USB and a lower variant of Bluetooth. If Samsung will follow the same idea, it’s safe to assume that the Samsung Galaxy A10e will have a 5.5 or 5.6-inch screen, it will include 32GB storage and 2GB RAM, and it will come with a slightly smaller battery, possibly with a 3,200mAh capacity. Also, instead of Bluetooth 5.0, users will most likely have to settle for Bluetooth 4.2. The USB 2.0 will probably not change.
The new Samsung Galaxy A10e will probably launch sometime in May and become available for purchase a few weeks later. It should have a reasonable price tag so it might become popular between smartphone users quite fast. Stay tuned and we will keep you posted.
