Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and 10+ shown in all their glory in leaked pictures
Keeping a secret in the tech world became almost impossible nowadays. This is why we get to know almost everything there is to know about handsets without the manufacturers getting to launch them first. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ are no exception from the rule as there is still almost a month until the official launch event, and images depicting the handset already surfaced on the web. These are not renders, which we’ve seen before, instead, they are official images of the upcoming Samsung flagships. Naturally, they don’t only reveal the design of the handsets but also confirm some of their rumored features.
That images that recently surfaced on the internet show slim devices, with a simple design and rounded corners. The bezels around the screen are almost invisible and the front-facing camera is now only a dot on the screen, it isn’t embedded in the upper bezel. Samsung kept things simple on the back too, where there is a vertical camera setup consisting of three sensors. The Note 10+ also features a ToF sensor. On the front, the two models look exactly the same.
According to the images, there will be at least two color variants. The black Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and 10+ come with a black stylus, while the silver variant, that reminds us of the Huawei P30 Pro due to its gradient finish on the back, comes with a stylish and fresh blue S Pen. The Bixby button seems to be gone, as the handsets only feature the volume buttons and one extra one, which should normally be the power button. Even Samsung couldn’t have ditched that. Another thing that might have disappeared is the 3.5mm audio jack. To be more exact, the images don’t show it, so there is a possibility that it is still there, but it is also possible that it didn’t make it one more year.
What is obvious is that there is no fingerprint sensor on the back of neither model. Samsung wanted to go for the in-display fingerprint sensor for a while now, and it seems they finally got there. Since the fingerprint sensor is nowhere to be seen on the back, we can only assume it went under the display, as it happened with other handsets too. Both devices are quite large, as the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 features a 6.3-inch display and the Note 10+ goes even bigger with a 6.7-inch screen. The fingerprint sensor on the back could have been difficult to reach at this size, so maybe it’s a good thing it is gone.
Naturally, all this beauty and the quality of the materials comes for a price. According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+’s most powerful version with 5G connectivity could cost as much as 2,000€. This is definitely not a small price to pay for a smartphone, however, it does offer a lot for this sum.
