Vivo X30 with Exynos 980 and 5G connectivity to launch before the end of 2019
Vivo announced last month that they are working on a new device, powered by an Exynos 980 chipset, in partnership with Samsung. Since then, we haven’t heard anything else regarding the new handset. Now, a leakster from China came forward with a series of new information about the device. It seems that it will be the successor of the Vivo X27 and its official name will be Vivo X30. The leakster also revealed that the upcoming smartphone will have a notch-free display. Given the fact that in-display selfie cameras are not quite here yet, it’s safe to assume that the front-facing camera will be a pop-up one instead.
Judging by the leaked photos, some of which depict what seems to be the box of the upcoming device, the Vivo X30 will don a triple rear camera setup. Of course, the images don’t tell us just what kind of cameras the new device will carry. The X27 Pro that launched in April featured a 48MP main camera, so we believe that the X30 will sport at least a similar one if not even a 64MP main sensor. The other sensors will most likely be an ultra-wide lens and a depth sensor.
Another thing that is certain, is that the Vivo X30 will support 5G connectivity. It seems that there will be no 4G variant of the handset, so those who are against 5G technology should not get their hopes high when it comes to this particular model. Vivo will introduce the new model to the world sometime in December according to the same leakster. Hopefully, the smartphone will have impressive features and an affordable price tag. In the worst case, there are two more months until the launch event. Certainly, information regarding it will start pouring in soon, so stay tuned and find out everything there is to know about the upcoming device ahead of its official launch.
