Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is actually the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro
We reported recently that Xiaomi is going to launch a new flagship device with the first 108MP penta-lens camera setup soon. It was going to be the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro, however, now it seems that at least in Wester regions, the handsetțs official name will be Xiaomi Mi Note 10. Besides sharing the new moniker of the upcoming handset, the company also detailed the components of the penta-lens camera setup. Besides the amazing 108MP main camera and the zoom camera we already knew about, the Mi Note 10 will also sport a 20MP ultra-wide sensor, a macro camera, and a 12MP additional camera that is there to assist users with portraits.
It’s not quite clear why Xiaomi decided to go for the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 moniker instead of the Mi CC9 Pro. Just this year, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun stated that the company was not planning on delivering any Mi Note or Mi Max devices this year. After all, the naming of the device is quite unimportant. It is a little bit strange that there was no other device of this series after the Mi Note 3 that launched in September 2017, and the company went straight to number 10, though.

Unfortunately, the company still didn’t reveal anything about the other specs and features of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Note 10. It definitely won’t have the best processor on the market, but it would be nice to see the next best thing powering it. Xiaomi usually equips its handsets with rather large batteries, so that shouldn’t be a problem in the case of the Mi Note 10 either. There is no official information regarding the handset’s pricing and availability yet either. Now that we know the company is going for the more international moniker, it’s safe to assume that the smartphone will get out of the Asia Pacific region at least and it will most likely land in Europe and in the US too. The launch event should take place next week, on November 5 so then, at the latest, we will find out more about the device.
